movie #1: 1408.
a disturbed movie, it was an hour and a half of torture. i felt the room was torturing me as much as the guy was being tortured - physically, mentally,emotionally, just minus the physical part for me because i was watching from the comfort of the cinema's seats. The movie's cool la, but i left the cinema with a huge question mark on my head. The show had no closure and i need closure.
So if an American/Hollywood movie can freak me out this much now, its a no-no to Asian especially thai horror shows from now on.
movie #2: No Reservations.
a splendid movie. rather, my cup of tea . apart from the sweet, innocent romance the lead chef and the sous chef had, the bonding between the aunt, the niece and the aunt's bf, we get to see food, glorious, tantalising, beautifully and creatively served food.
Definitely makes working in the kitchen attractive.
movie #3: Evan Almighty.
i like this movie too, lighthearted and yet with certain parts which is inspirational/a reminder.
One thing that caught me was this when God was speaking to Evan's wife: saying that He gives opportunities. "If you prayed for patience, does God give you patience just like that? He gives opportunities. If you prayed for a closer family, will God zap you with warm fuzzy feelings? He gives you opportunities"
cool. The comedy was funny too.
Finally after such a long time a meeting up with Majina! my little sis from sec school. Been so long since we last met, but back then she was one of my closest and dearest friend. Until now, she's still close to my heart. It's those kind of friendships,that no matter how long you haven't met, or the many years that has pass, you still love that friend just the same, ever so much.
